Kiko Miyares was born on the April 27 in 1977 in Llanes, in the Asturian Province in Spain. Graduated in BBAA at the Public University of the Basque Country. He developed his first exhibitions in Bilbao and other related jobs such as in the assembly department of the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao 2002-2009. With a pictorial training, he accompanied his works mainly with wood sculpture, on this website the works in this field are basically shown. The possibilities of representation have become a fundamental point in his work. The path between the automatic and the planned is giving way to a way of doing things that plays between manual work and increasingly complex planning. The beings represented at first become raw material, building elements.
