Ronan Day-Lewis

Ronan Day-Lewis (b. 1998) is a New York City-based painter and filmmaker. Growing up in rural Ireland, he graduated from Yale University with a BA in Art in 2020. His work, whose "transportive, otherworldly tensions have been earning [him] the attention of galleries and critics alike" (Artnet), has been written about in publications including Hyperallergic, Office Magazine, Cool Hunting, and Whitewall. In 2022, he was included in an exhibition of "rising art stars" at Sotheby's following solo and two-person presentations at Spring/Break Art Show. In 2023, he held his first Manhattan solo exhibition at D. D. D. D. Since then, he has participated in group exhibitions at galleries and art fairs including Kasmin, Winter Street Gallery, Dallas Art Fair, Palo, and Smoke the Moon, and was the subject of a feature-length profile in Artnet News. Following a recent solo presentation at NADA NY, forthcoming shows include a group exhibition at Rachel Uffner, and a solo exhibition at Woaw Gallery in Singapore, marking his international debut. He is also currently in pre-production on his feature film directorial debut, produced and to be released by Focus Features.
