Blake Daniels (b.1990, Cincinnati, OH) lives and works in Paris, France and Johannesburg, South Africa. They are the recipient of the Edward L. Ryerson Fellowship from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago where they received their BA Fine Arts (2013) and received a Master in Fine Arts from The University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, ZA (2017).
Daniels was awarded the Rema Hort Mann Foundation Emerging Artist Grant and has taken residence with the Fine Arts Work Center (Provincetown, MA) and Académie des beaux-arts xCité internationale des art (Paris, FR).
