Chung Chia-Chun

Chia-Chun Chung was born in Taiwan in 1992. Graduating from TungHai University Department of Fine Arts, the artist is known for presenting spaces through various styles and mediums such as acrylic, pastel and charcoal. Chung’s signature works are twodimensional multimedia monochromatic portraits, merging Cubist style sketching, Surrealist symbolism and minimalist hard-edge colour blocks to infuse planarity into paintings. In the year 2020, he was nominated for the Kaohsiung Award, and his works have been exhibited in Taiwan, France and Lebanon in recent years.
